Skin & Aesthetic Care
Priced by single area, full body, or a six-session course — with a realistic explanation of how many sessions your hair will actually need.
Laser hair removal works by targeting the pigment in the hair follicle. Because hair grows in cycles and the laser only affects follicles in the active growth phase, a single session will never treat everything. This is the point most clinics gloss over, and the reason we price a six-session course alongside single treatments.
How many sessions you need depends on the area, your hair colour and coarseness, and your skin tone. Coarse dark hair responds most predictably. Fine or light hair responds less well, and we will tell you that at consultation rather than after you have paid for a course. Hormonal factors can also affect results on some areas.
You can book a single area, full body excluding face, or the discounted six-session package. Treatments are spaced several weeks apart to match the growth cycle. Your practitioner will set the interval for your area and skin rather than applying a fixed schedule to everyone.
Why Noir
We assess your hair and skin type, explain realistically how many sessions the area will need, and confirm pricing before the first treatment.

Aftercare
Treated skin can look slightly red and feel warm, similar to mild sunburn, for a few hours to a day. Avoid hot showers, saunas, swimming pools and heavy exercise for 24 hours, and skip perfumed products on the area.
Sun protection matters more here than with almost any other treatment. Keep the area out of direct sun and use broad-spectrum sunscreen between sessions — treated skin is more reactive, and sun exposure between appointments is the most common reason a course has to be paused. Do not wax, pluck or thread between sessions; shaving is fine.
It varies with the area, your hair colour and coarseness, and your skin tone. Because hair grows in cycles, a course works far better than a single session — we offer six-session packages for this reason. Your practitioner will give you a realistic number at consultation.
Most people describe a quick snapping sensation rather than pain. Sensitive areas feel it more. Tell your practitioner if it is uncomfortable and the settings can be adjusted.
Yes — shaving is fine and usually required before a session. Do not wax, pluck or thread, as those remove the follicle the laser needs to target.
Less predictably. The laser targets pigment, so coarse dark hair responds best. We will assess your hair at consultation and tell you honestly what to expect rather than sell you a course that may disappoint.
Yes, but sun exposure between sessions has to be managed carefully — keep the area covered and use sunscreen. Your practitioner will advise based on your skin and how much sun you are getting.
