Teeth Whitening in DHA Phase 6, Lahore

Professional, dentist-supervised whitening in a single visit — assessed first, priced up front, and done with controlled medical-grade materials.

Teeth whitening is the quickest way to freshen a smile, and the one most people get wrong by buying a kit online. Strips and home gels apply an uncontrolled concentration to whatever they touch, which is why results come out patchy and sensitivity is so common. A supervised treatment is more even because the gum line is protected and the material is applied deliberately, tooth by tooth.

At our DHA Phase 6 studio, whitening begins with an examination. We check the health of your teeth and gums, look for decay or exposed roots, and identify what is actually causing the discolouration — because not all staining responds to whitening. Tea, coffee and tobacco stains sit on the surface and lift well. Discolouration from within the tooth, or from an old filling or crown, does not, and we will tell you that before you spend anything.

Most clients pair whitening with a scaling and polishing appointment first. Removing plaque and surface deposits before whitening gives a more even result, because the material reaches the tooth rather than the film on top of it.

Looking after your results

Teeth are more porous for the first 24 to 48 hours, so this is when your result is most at risk. Avoid the obvious offenders in that window — tea, coffee, cola, red wine, dark curries and tobacco. If you smoke, this is the single biggest factor in how long the result lasts.

Mild sensitivity to hot and cold afterwards is common and usually settles within a day or two; a sensitivity toothpaste helps. Beyond the first days, twice-daily brushing, flossing and regular scaling are what actually keep teeth bright. Your dentist will tell you when a top-up is sensible for your habits.

Frequently Asked

Professional whitening is carried out under supervision with controlled, dentist-approved materials, which is why we examine your teeth and gums first. If your enamel is worn or you have exposed roots, we will tell you and explain the alternatives rather than proceed.

It depends almost entirely on habits. Heavy tea, coffee or tobacco use will dull the result faster. Most clients maintain it with good oral hygiene and regular scaling, and return for a top-up when they feel it is needed.

No. Whitening works on natural tooth structure only — crowns, veneers and composite fillings keep their existing shade. If you have visible restorations at the front, we will discuss how the final result will look before starting.

The treatment itself is generally comfortable. Some people feel short bursts of sensitivity during or shortly after, which settles on its own. Tell us if you already have sensitive teeth and we will factor that in.

Usually yes. Whitening works better on a clean tooth surface, so we often recommend scaling and polishing first. Your dentist will advise at the consultation.
